Butch Hobson is the manager for the independent professional baseball team, the Chicago Dogs. Recently, Hobson was not thrilled with the third strike called by an umpire in their game against the Sioux City Explorers, so he left the dugout to argue. After a brief altercation, Butch was ejected from the game. But that wasn’t the end for him!
Hobson walked over to one of his players, grabbed his bat and proceeded to step up to the plate and hit a mock home run, to show the umpire how the at-bat should have gone! He even ran the bases for added effect! Why not? What are they going to do, throw him out of the game again?
