Last week, parody music icon Weird Al Yankovic was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. During Weird Al’s speech, he just had one simple request of his fans: please don’t deface his star!
Yankovic said:
“Please don’t pickaxe my star. I know it’s all the rage these days, but that’s not cool. Unless at some point in the future, I do something unfathomably monstrous and evil in which case, sure, fine, okay, go ahead. But anything short of that, please limit yourselves to spitting and urinating people. Have some class.”
Yankovic was no doubt referring to the Hollywood Walk of Fame star belonging to President Donald Trump that has been vandalized numerous times since the billionaire businessman and reality television star was elected President.
