Yesterday, a protester tried to interrupt the Twitter hearing in Congress by simply yelling, even after the threat was made to have her removed by security. That didn’t seem to sway her decision at all, so she kept going. Having had enough, Republican representative Billy Long took things into his own hands and finally drowned her out by talking over her like an auctioneer! And it was pretty damn legit, too, because Long used to be an auctioneer.
Long’s tactic seemed to work, as the woman wasn’t heard from again and was eventually escorted from the room.
