Apparently Amazon isn’t happy enough putting every brick and mortar store out of business, because now they plan on selling Christmas trees too this years, which will no doubt put many local Christmas tree lots out of business as well!
Beginning in November, Amazon will offer seven-foot-tall Douglas firs and Norfolk Island pines. The trees will be shipped in a massive Amazon box within ten days of being cut down from a North Carolina tree farm and Amazon says that they will survive the shipping just fine. A tree will set you back $115, and some will qualify for free shipping with Prime. Wreaths and plants will also be available.
