On a recent episode of Bleacher Report’s Simm’s & Lefkoe: The Show DeAngelo Hall shared his memory of the time Paris Hilton saved him $15,000 at a Vegas nightclub.
Back in 2004 Hall was the eighth overall draft pick for the Atlanta Falcons which meant, as a rookie, it was time for his fellow Falcons to welcome him to the team with some hazing!
Instead of just making him strip and run down the Vegas strip or something fratty, stupid and generally harmless, they figured they would go out to the club and stick Hall with the bill!
Sure for us non-celebrities or non-athletes, picking up the tab doesn’t sound horrible but we’re talking pro-footballers who happen to be at the same club as Paris Hilton and David Hasselhoff so the tab ended up being $15,000.
As Hall remembers it all, though, before he could even pull out his card, Paris freakin’ Hilton just picked up the check…If we’re being real here, though, $15,000 to her is probably what $1 beer specials at the local dive bar are to us regular folk.
Anyways, now Hall has an awesome memory of how he kicked off his rookie season and how Paris Hilton is working to end hazing!
