So imagine this. You’re just laying on the beach, catching some rays, when you notice something odd wash up on the beach. After further inspection, you realize that it’s not just one, but many bricks of marijuana, heavily wrapped in plastic! The pot gods have smiled down upon you! You’re pot rich! That exact thing happened on a Flagler County, Florida beach recently.
61-year-old Beachgoer Robert Kelley started scooping up the pot bricks and putting them in his car, but when deputies arrived, he told them that he was simply “holding it” until they showed up. Suuuure ya were, buddy! If that was the case, then why didn’t you tell them about the 11-pound brick of pot wrapped in a towel in the trunk of your car? Hmmm!
Kelley was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.
