Body Modification Expert Decides Keys Are Just Too Much Of A Pain, Implants NFC And RFID Chips In Hands (Video)

Self-Described cyborg, Russ Foxx is not just any regular body modification expert with piercings all over his face because he’s also got keys to his whole life inserted in his hands!

Foxx has decided he’s got enough metal in his face and that actual keys are just too much of a hassle.

By inserting NFC (Near-Field Communication) and RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) chips into his wrist and finger, Foxx is able to never search for a single key again and also hide things in his table.

His front door is replaced with a smart lock that he uses both chips to lock and unlock, he can start his motorcycle with the flick of the wrist, locks and unlocks his concealment table and even keeps his business card under his skin and scan-able.

People can use their phones (only androids, though) to scan the NFC chip in his hand and pull up all of his contact information. Slightly pointless but, eh, pretty neat!

We would say this dude holds the keys to the future, but in reality, he is the future.
