Back in 1997, Free Beer and Hot Wings were working at Iowa Western Community College, teaching classes and hosting the afternoon show on 89.7 The River. Just recently, a former student of theirs posted this picture to Facebook which shows Free Beer on the left, Hot Wings on the right and Connie, who did morning on the station, in the middle. Ironically, Connie works with us here in Grand Rapids on our sister station, Mix 95.7! Strange how things have come full circle!
