A Little Caesars Location In North Dakota Is Giving Away Free Pizza Slices To Those Who Can’t Afford To Pay For Their Food (Video)

When the owners of a Little Caesars in North Dakota noticed that homeless people were digging through their dumpster looking for leftover pizza, they decided to do something pretty great about it. Instead of taking steps to ensure that people couldn’t get old food out of the dumpster, the manager of the Little Caesars instead invited the people to come in for a few slices of pizza and a cup of water on the house.

A sign was posted in the drive-thru window that said:

“To the person going through our trash for their next meal, you’re a human being and worth more than a meal from a dumpster. Please come in during operating hours for a couple slices of hot pizza and a cup of water at no charge. No questions asked.”

In the two years since putting up the sign, they’ve given away over 142,000 slices of pizza. How incredible is that?!

It’s nice to see that some businesses are really doing their part to help feed people who can’t afford to feed themselves!
