Boxer Deontay Wilder Punches An ESPN Mascot In The Face, Breaking His Jaw (Video)

Heavyweight boxer Deontay Wilder appeared recently on the Spanish language ESPN show ‘Nacion to promote his upcoming December 1st fight against Tyson Fury. Wilder is considered to be one of the hardest punchers out there, which ended up being bad news for the ESPN ‘Nacion mascot, who, for reasons unknown, was punched squarely in the face by Wilder.

During the segment, the mascot walked out on to the set, stood up straight and took a punch to the mascot face by Wilder, dropping him instantly. But it wasn’t all just fun and games because, as EVERYONE knows, inside of a mascot costume is a real person. And that real person ended up having his jaw broken by the devastating punch.

Wilder later claimed that he did not know that there was a real person inside of the costume, which may be the worst excuse anyone has ever given. So, what, you thought that it was a robot that walked out on to the set? Did you think it was a hologram? C’mon, man! You knew what you were doing!
