Michigan Pizza Shop Hero Drives To Indianapolis To Deliver Pizza To Terminally Ill Man (Video)

When Julie and Rich Morgan lived in Battle Creek, Michigan decades ago, they discovered a true love for their favorite pizza joint and recently that love was reciprocated, proven by a 200 mile drive for one pizza boy!

Steve’s Pizza in Battle Creek is the one pizza that all others just could not live up to for the Morgans, which is why it was super disappointing when the couple moved to Indianapolis.

The couple had planned a trip to go back to Battle Creek for Julie’s birthday and, of course, get their beloved Steve’s Pizza but their plans came to a screeching halt when Rich ended up in the hospital in Indy and was losing his battle with cancer.

That’s when Julie’s father stepped in and gave Steve’s Pizza a call and boy did young Dalton Shaffer answer.

Shaffer got into his car and decided he would deliver a pizza over 200 miles to make the couple even just a little bit happier, also marking the first-ever delivery for Steve’s!

Pizza spreading true joy, who would have thought?

All of us…We all knew that.

Shout out to Dalton, while it may be cheesy, he’s a real stand-up guy!
