Here’s The Most Heartfelt Goodbye From A Manager At Closing Kmart (Video)

It’s not too uncommon to hear people look back on their first jobs and not have the most fond memories but not this Kmart manager!

Joshua Englert started working at the Kmart in McMurray, Pennsylvania when he was just 16 years old and now, 18 years later, he is the last manager to announce “the store will be closing in five minutes.”

Englert worked his way up to manager and apparently really loved it because on this Kmart store’s last day of business, he ended it with a heartfelt message over the PA system.

“I wanted to take this opportunity, not to sell you 40 cent plaid skirts or five-cent panties,” he said tearfully. “But to thank you for supporting a lifetime of memories.”

Working at a big-box retail store for 18 years and actually loving it? This man deserves a medal or at least a Walmart gift card (we’d say Kmart but…).
