Ever wonder how the new contestants get selected to play the current champion on Jeopardy? It’s pretty simple, actually. Last night, Alex Trebek started the show explaining how they pick the contestants from a pool in the studio. Trebek then explained how, since two of the contestants were both named Eric, one of them would be using a nickname to avoid confusion. Alex then went for perhaps the biggest knee-slapper he’s ever dished out when he said that contestant Hannah’s real first name was also Eric! BOOOM! JKJKLOLLOL
