You know when people see a scary spider and some say, “kill it with fire”? Well, someone should tell this guy in Fresno that it’s a figure of speech because he took it to the extreme and now his parents’ home is burned to a crisp.
Apparently while he was house-sitting for his parents he thought the best way to kill black widow spiders was to use a blow-torch!
Because who wouldn’t automatically think to do that!?
Anyways the house caught on fire and 29 firefighters showed up who claim they don’t know the “official cause” of the fire but believe the blow torch may have had something to do with it.
OH YOU DON’T SAY.
So in case you somehow needed a reminder, you probably should not use a blow torch to kill spiders.
