The Boston Red Sox Win The World Series, Beating The Dodgers 5-1 In Game Five (Video)

The Boston Red Sox beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-1 to win the World Series last night in five games. This is the Red Sox’ fourth World Series win in the last 14 years, also winning it in 2004, 2007 and 2013. Before that, the Sox had a near 100-year drought of World Series wins, dating back to 1918.

Red Sox first baseman Steve Pearce was named the World Series MVP and accepted the Willie Mays trophy, as well as a shiny, new 2019 Red Sox red Chevy Sillverado Trail Boss. Awesome!

Pearce had three home runs and had eight RBI in the series. He’s also the the second player in Red Sox history with three home runs in a World Series, sharing that stage with the great Carl Yastrzemski back in 1967.
