If someone could explain to us why someone who looks like the human embodiment of a slouch would halt a press conference to scold a reporter for slouching that would be neat because we are having a hard time comprehending this one.
It is no secret Matt Patricia is not the most well-liked coach in the NFL, partly because he works for the last-place Detroit Lions but also because he kind of seems like a real d-bag.
Recently during a post-Golden Tate trade press conference, a reporter asked how Patricia thought the trade would benefit the franchise.
Instead of just answering the question and moving on, Patricia decided to call this dude out for his posture.
“Do me a favor, just sit up,” Patricia said. “Have a little respect for the process.”
Respect for the process…of asking a coach of one of the most disappointing teams in the NFL a question?
Okay, Patricia, forgot your sweatsuits mean you deserve the highest of honors…noted.
