Being a professional video gamer has to have it’s perks. First off, the obvious. You make money playing video games! You don’t have to deal with the hassle of going to the office every day and working for some jerk boss that you can’t stand. You fire up your Xbox and play video games all day! But with the good comes the bad. And in this case, this gamer was pretty much called a peadophile by the mother of one of his young fans.
While playing Fortnite one day, this gamer decided to drop into a game of some of his followers. The young kids were obviously excited that their gamer idol was playing with them, but one person that wasn’t so excited was one of the kid’s mothers.
The kid handed his mother his headset, and she proceeded to rip this guy a new one, asking if he knew the ages of the children he was playing with and if he thought this was appropriate or not. Talk about making someone feel awkward for doing something pretty innocent!
Here’s an idea, Mom. Maybe keep a better eye on who your kid is communicating with while playing video games. Or perhaps don’t let him play video games at all!
