Back in April, cop in Florida witnessed a driver going 90MPH in the opposite direction on the interstate. So he flipped on his lights, pulled a quick u-turn across the median and hit speeds of 140MPH to catch the driver, even passing other cars on the shoulder to do so. But things turned south for the cop once he came to a stop in the no doubt dry grass of the shoulder, because he noticed smoke billowing out from under the car. The heat from the engine had set the grass on fire!
Unfortunately for the cop, his cruiser was completely engulfed in flames in just a matter of minutes. But at least he was cool enough to let the speeder go!
