Texas District Judge Releases All The Juvenile Defendants After Losing Re-Election (Video)

The ACLU has launched an investigation into a Texas district court judge, Glenn Devlin after he was voted out of office and decided to release all the juvenile defendants on his docket by asking one simple question.

“If I release you, will you go out and murder anybody?”

According to public defender Steve Halpert, this was the question that was to seal the fate of the juveniles released that day, if they responded “no.”

Either Devlin had a change of heart after losing re-election or he was doing it to spite Democrats who, Halpert says, are somehow thought to be “soft on crime.”

We will have to wait and see how this plays out, but in the meantime if there ever was a time to be a juvenile delinquent in Houston, it’s now!
