We’re not in the business of “mom shaming” but this mom made a pretty dumb move and now feels the need to warn everyone about the dangers of something she could have easily avoided.
It’s probably pretty common sense and should be for someone who claims to be part of a “nautical family” that ocean currents are a thing and it is easy to get carried away by them.
So someone please explain why this Florida native and mother was surprised when she took herself and her 7-year-old out into the Gulf of Mexico on one of those giant swan floaties.
They hopped on and suddenly started drifting, but instead of getting off and going back once she noticed it was happening they just stayed on until she could not paddle back and then was shocked and crying when she couldn’t help them…
Luckily beachgoers were watching from ashore and realized this mom had made an idiot move, called 911, and they ended up rescued.
The funny part (not that we’re insensitive) is this woman literally was so mad at this swan float, blaming it for the reason they floated out, she had her son pop it and had the first responders throw it in a dumpster!
Yes, because it is the swan’s fault you decided to take it out where you shouldn’t…makes total sense…
