The news of Marvel Comics creator Stan Lee’s death spread quickly across social media yesterday after the 95-year-old comic icon passed away. Tributes rolled in from celebrities to regular folks, and everyone in between. But perhaps the most heartfelt tribute to Lee came from the Sports Radio Pope himself, Mike Francesa.
Francesa was live on the air doing his radio show when the news of Lee’s passing broke. A caller asked for Mike’s thoughts, and that’s when things got emotional…well, as emotional as things can get for a sports-programmed radio robot!
