Next Week’s Monday Night Football Game Has Been Moved From Mexico City Because The Field Conditions Are Awful (Video)

Next weeks’ Monday Night Football game between the 9-1 Chiefs and the 9-1 Rams was supposed to take place at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, but due to absolutely awful field conditions, the game has been relocated to the LA Coliseum.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, NFL officials inspected the field a few weeks ago and didn’t have major concerns about the playing surface. But when they reinspected it this week, it had gotten much worse. It was so bad that players were reportedly considering sitting out due to safety concerns. So yesterday, the NFL pulled the plug and moved the game back to Los Angeles.
