Trigger Warning: Suicide
What was this skydiver’s first ever tandem jump turned into a nightmare and it continues after it has since been ruled a suicide.
On September 27th of this year, Brett Bickford, an instructor at Skydive New England fell to his death after the harness came loose during a tandem jump.
The second jumper landed safely with the parachute but other skydive professionals say an instructor would never loosen a harness on accident.
After investigation, it was ruled he intentionally loosened the parachute harness mid-air.
As if jumping out of a moving airplane is not scary enough…
