Drew Brees was stumped by a reporter’s question at a press conference the other night and we honestly can’t blame him!
Apparently it is a bit this reporter does but, boy, in the moment it must be the most confusing thing ever!
Using a 1920’s-esque accent and phrasing, the reporter calls Brees “Champ” and refers to the night as “not being the berries.”
Thanks to the super research of the internet, it was discovered the reporter’s name is “Scoops Callahan” and he has actually done this before!
Keep on keeping on, old sport!
Reporter last night to Drew Brees: “Champ, Champ, on the sunny side, despite tonight not being the berries, you have to believe that your Crescent City buckmen are all set to make a great run at another ice covered roscoe just like the bulldog boys from Canton town.” pic.twitter.com/ZntcZB3gfj
