American Airlines Sets New Low, Leaves Woman In Wheelchair Behind Overnight And Loses Her Luggage (Video)

A 67-year-old woman was dropped off at Chicago O’Hare International Airport to catch her American Airlines flight back to Detroit, Michigan and ended up alone overnight.

Claude Coltea dropped off his mother, Olimpia Warsaw at the gate when the agent assured them both the flight was on time and that Warsaw was in good hands.

Well, if American Airlines’ hands are “good hands” then we have a few concerns because Warsaw ended up not making it to Detroit that night, instead spending hours alone in her wheelchair without any help.

Her flight ended up cancelled so the porter assigned to her tried to get her to a hotel but her communication struggles did not make that possible so once his shift was over, he just “peaced out” and left her.

Nobody checked in with wheelchair-bound Warsaw until the family called both airports when she did not show up in Detroit when she was supposed to.

Oh, and they lost her luggage when she first arrived in Chicago to attend a funeral!

American Airlines says they are investigating the matter which means they will throw some “free” miles at Warsaw and tack this one up with the ever-growing list of F’d up things they’ve done this year alone.
