Okay so maybe the fact she started singing the Star Spangled Banner isn’t as important to the story as the fact she forcibly cut a student’s hair but it definitely shows how bonkers she is!
Students in 52-year-old Margaret Gieszinger’s chemistry class thought she was just trying to be funny when she walked in claiming it was “haircut day” until she actually cut a student’s hair after running through the desks singing the national anthem.
Nobody is really sure what caused her brain to seemingly break but students did say she had a similar freak out a few days before.
As students run from the classroom, video shows her approaching another female student with scissors at the ready.
Police ended up arresting Gieszinger for corporal injury to a child with $100,000 bail.
We’ve probably all experienced a teacher who seemed to have a screw loose but this one takes the cake…or at least the hair!
