Apparently, if you bounce a puck off a ref’s tender bits it actually doesn’t count…
That’s what happened when St. Louis Blues defensman Robert Bortuzzo launched the puck for a last-ditch goal attempt and it bounced off referee Tim Peel.
The puck hit Peel in his sensitive man areas and ended up in the net for what they thought would be a Blues goal.
After Peel was checked out and escorted from the ice, the goal was taken back and now we have all learned a valuable lesson.
