As Simpson made it past the security officer with 10-15 stolen video games in his coat, another shopper tackled him and held him until police arrived.
Now Simpson is looking for sympathy.
“I was just trying to make it out of there alive. I don’t know what possessed this guy to do this,” said Simpson. “I think what he did was wrong and he should be punished for it.”
The innocent shopper got away with nothing more than a “hey let us handle it next time” from police and all is right in Walmart World.
