Southwest Airlines Keeps College Student From Bringing Pet Fish Home For The Holidays, Forcing Her To Leave Him Behind (Video)

A University of Colorado sophomore was just trying to fly home to San Diego the other day with her pet fish but Southwest Airlines forced her to leave him behind.

Lanice Powless said she had flown with her fish “Cassie” before and never had any issues until now!

According to TSA’s website, Powless pointed out that fish were allowed but the gate agent lady was not having it and forced her to get rid of it within the airport.

Powless ended up having to leave her beloved pet with a passenger who was taking a different airline but did not get the other person’s name because the intense security did not give them a chance to “conversate.”

Now Powless feels powerless…kind of like…a fish out of water.

Boom. Double pun…now someone go get this girl another .60 cent fish!
