A little advice from behind-the-scenes in radio, if you pre-record “live” remotes for an event that could have one of two outcomes, make sure the right one plays!
A station in Alabama was covering the National Championship when after Bama was blown out, 44 to 16, they aired a spot letting people know they should get their Alabama National Championship gear!
They even went on about how amazing the victory was over the Clemson Tigers…which actually never happened…
Rookie mistake.
