Shaving company’s new ad campaign is falling on its face

Gillette, yes, the shaving products company, has begun a new ad campaign encouraging us all to begin making positive behavioral changes to combat bullying and harassment by asking, “Is this the best a man can get?”

Today, I think the sentiment is genuine and the social revolution necessary, but according to a recent Breitbart article, the company has been receiving mostly negative feedback by viewers, with currently 446-thousand thumbs-downs, and only 142-thousand thumbs-ups on the video posted on Gillette’s official YouTube channel. Surely, though, that is NOT the yardstick with which to measure the success of something like this, is it? What kind of world could we eventually create if we all made a few positive changes and showed a little more love and compassion to our fellow humans?
