Principal Announces Snowday With Clever Parody Of This 80’s Hit (Video)

The principal of Conestoga High School in Nebraska, David Friedli, did not want to make any old, generic announcement for a snow day recently and gave us this cringe-worthy hit!

Friedeli sat down in his kitchen, put on some shades and let the camera roll as he belted out his parody of “We Didn’t Start The Fire” by Billy Joel.

He then does the entire song with lyrics about the school and local roads for damn near five minutes!

Sure, it’s not the most incredible remake and we may not know what the heck he’s talking about for the most part, these kids are lucky to have a principal who tries so hard.

Maybe next he will roll up to the spring choir concert with a parody of “Piano Man.”
