No, that was not a typo. Yes, you read that right. A woman in the English county of Devon is planning a wedding…to her duvet.
You know duvets, those somewhat decorative comforter things you sleep under, that’s what artist Pascale Sellick is marrying.
“My duvet is the longest, strongest, most intimate and reliable relationship that I have ever had,” Sellick said. “That’s because it has always been there for me and gives me great hugs.”
She also said it has been the “most constant, comforting companion” in her life and she just wants to make it official.
The wedding guests have to wear pajamas and she even said she plans to have the honeymoon at the bedroom section of Ikea…
In case you thought this was just a joke to celebrate single people around Valentine’s day, we think this woman is actually serious…she even hired an actual wedding planner!
This takes having the old, childhood “blankie” to a whole new level…
