This past Saturday afternoon 430 college hopefuls got some of the best news of their life only to have their joy ripped away hours later.
The University of South Florida, St. Petersburg sent out a mass email accepting the 430 students.
“Once again congratulations on your admission to USFSP! We are excited to welcome you to the university and are very proud of all that you have accomplished so far,” said the university, “I also wanted to provide you with your next steps.”
Those “next steps” came about an hour later when they all received another email saying there had been a mistake and telling them “Please disregard the previous email.”
It’s one of the biggest “lol just kidding” jokes we’ve ever seen but hope these kids will recover…
