Tennessee Lawmaker Proposes Dress Code For Parents Of Schoolchildren (Video)

School dress codes for students are pretty normal but now this Tennessee lawmaker is trying to implement ones for parents!

Apparently the way parents come dressed has become a problem among Memphis schools so Democratic state representative Antonio Parkinson wants to establish a code of conduct.

Parkinson said he has heard “horror stories” from principals of parents showing up smelling like drugs or just in lingerie.

He says the new law can be up to the interpretation of the schools but is also to create a “standard of awareness” for parents.

So think twice before showing up to your child’s school in your pajamas, and especially if you’re in Memphis, they might as well call you Vinaigrette because you better be dressing!
