Aside from knowing how to make it to a Super Bowl, the Cleveland Browns apparently also do not know how to call their correct draft pick!
New Orleans Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan shared the story on the Dan Patrick Show about the time the Browns called him thinking he was Jordan Cameron.
So the Browns drafted Jordan Cameron in the fourth round but when they went to call him to let him know, they actually called Cameron Jordan after he had already been drafted and on his way to Saints training camp.
“I’m like, ‘I’m good, actually, I’ve already been selected, but if you want to send that check, I’ll take that,'” said Cameron. “I’ll take two signing bonuses but I refuse to go to Cleveland.”
Someone please go help the Browns, they seem to really, really need it.
