Allan Harris wanted to get his wife Nina something special for the Hallmark holiday so when she asked for tulips she could plant and have them come back each year…he got turnips.
We guess tulips just wouldn’t turnip the heat enough!
Okay so he didn’t purposely just buy turnips against her wishes, he misheard her and did end up getting her the tulips she had asked for so now they have enough love turnips for a long, happy lifetime!
