Trucks have been making that universally-known sound when they back up since the beginning of time but now, NOW some cities have decided it is “noise pollution” and are doing something (stupid) about it!
Ottawa, Canada has started replacing the noises on all of their snow-removal vehicles to make more of a “woosh” sound instead of the traditional “beep.”
Sure the beep is annoying, but it’s okay because the sound of static is just so much better!
We see this working very well and can not even imagine there ever being an issue!
