With Success Of ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, Queen’s Presence Strong At Oscars

Unless the late legend Freddie Mercury absolutely hated Rami Malek’s portrayal of him in the popular biopic of his life, we bet he would incredibly proud last night!

First, the surviving members of Queen opened up the show with Adam Lambert and got everyone at the Oscars ready to rock and feeling like champions before any winners (and losers) were revealed.

Throughout the night, the film took home awards for Best Sound Mixing, Best Sound Editing and Best Film Editing!

Then, Rami Malek took home Best Lead Actor for his role as Freddie Mercury.

The best part of the night, though, had to be when Mike Myers and Dana Carvey revived their roles as Wayne and Garth to introduce ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ for their nomination in the Best Picture category!

Now the film may not have won Best Picture but it definitely was a night full of celebrating one of the best bands to ever exist.
