A 60-year-old guy in New York faked his own kidnapping recently because he did not want to pay his Super Bowl Squares debt.
As it turned out the Super Bowl Squares betting poll he was running was a scam where most of the names in it were fake, created by him to try to take all the money.
However, he fumbled the scam when real people he was trying to tackle money from actually won and he couldn’t actually pay them the $50,000 he owed.
Instead of just admitting to what happened, the best way to get out of it apparently was to just pretend to be kidnapped!
This grown man told police he’s been tied up in his truck and robbed but police saw the cracks in his story and threw down some great defense!
