After 18 months this teen boy finally has answers as to what was making him suddenly have schizophrenic symptoms and tendencies.
Starting in October 2015 and causing four hospitalizations, this boy was tested for the seemingly random onset of symptoms for hallucinations, delusions as well as suicidal and homicidal ideations.
Two psychiatrists diagnosed him with schizophrenia but it was actually his parents who discovered the true cause of their son’s newfound health problems.
His parents discovered strange “stretch marks” on their son’s body which were later tested and it was determined he had cat-scratch disease from one of the family cats!
So there you have it, people, cat scratch fever is actually real!
