Of course Utah would have a debate over something as fun as karaoke.
Recently a Salt Lake City karaoke business requested a beer license but their fate lies on the liquor commission to decide if karaoke is considered a “recreational activity” under liquor laws.
Owners of Heart and Seoul Karaoke did point out the board approved a liquor license for an axe-throwing business so how can karaoke be more dangerous to drink with than that?
Knowing Utah, this probably won’t end in karaoke’s favor…sad.
