The Cure was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Friday, and lead singer Robert Smith was not in the business of playing along with overzealous reporters.
So, fans of the band and those involved with the rock hall must be super excited, who wouldn’t be?
Apparently Robert Smith.
This interviewer was way too peppy considering she is at the Rock Hall of Fame and asked Smith if he was excited as she is.
To be blunt, Smith just goes, “um…by the sounds of it, no.”
Honestly, that pretty much sums up the band nicely.
