Annual New Jersey Beach Sweep Reveals Interesting Garbage Data

More than 10,000 people showed up to rid some New Jersey beach area of some trash and we do mean actual garbage!

Data from the 454,365 pieces of garbage picked up were pretty surprising.

Unsurprisingly, 82 percent was just general plastic but condoms were up 56 percent from 2017 and diapers were up 78 percent…makes sense, more sex = more babies!

Before you think they found everything but the kitchen sink, think again because they found one of those too!

They also found a door from a porta-john, a plastic pig and a sex toy…undetermined if those last two are related.

Still, as the data confirms, we are some dirty, dirty people and it is getting into our oceans. Clean it up people.
