Last night Virginia beat Texas Tech 85 to 77 in overtime to win the NCAA Men’s National Championship!
It was only the eighth time in tournament history that the championship game went to overtime and is the first national championship in the school’s history.
During the trophy presentation, Coach Tony Bennett credited a “Rocky” poster in his office and the song “Hills and Valleys” by Tauren Wells for motivating the team.
Now with the song, we doubt those boys weren’t bumping to something a bit more “hype” but go on, sir, you’re the one winning championships.
