Criminals posing as Uber drivers have been in the news a lot lately after a college student was murdered and now women everywhere are sharing their horrifying experiences.
During a CNN segment on the matter, one woman in Los Angeles shared the story of how she survived her assault by a fake Uber driver two years ago.
The driver ended up sexually assaulting her but in order to escape she said she used a tactic she learned from the TV show Grey’s Anatomy.
She said he just started rambling about her life and her family in order to “humanize” herself to the attacker and he actually ended up crying and letting her go.
Just goes to show all that binge-watching could actually save your life someday!
