Wisconsin 24-Year-Old Wins Third-Largest Jackpot in U.S. History

A 24-year-old guy in Wisconsin won the third-largest lottery jackpot in U.S. history for $768 million.

When Manuel Franco purchased the ticket he said he felt weirdly lucky and even considered winking at the security camera.

He said he then screamed for about five to ten minutes when he won and then took the lump sum of $477 million, giving the state a payday just over $36 million.

With his winnings Franco says he wants to travel and help the world and doesn’t really care about “fancy stuff” and proceeded to quit his job two days after he won.

In case anyone would like to know the numbers they should avoid to prevent consequences like on the show Lost: 16, 20, 37, 44, 62 and powerball 12.

Now cue all the “here’s what I’d do if I won the lottery” talk!
