School dress codes for students (sometimes) make sense, but to regulate those students’ parents?
It’s been happening more and more and now this mom in Houston was not allowed to enter and register her 15-year-old daughter at a new school because of her outfit.
Great first impression, right?
She was wearing a t-shirt dress and a scarf tied around her head which, while a pretty casual look, is nothing inappropriate but a female administrator said it violated their dress code, and wouldn’t let her on school grounds.
The school apparently sent out a letter earlier this month, saying parents couldn’t wear shower caps, hair rollers, pajamas, slippers and more.
Sounds like a place we all would want our kids to be!
