A 49-year-old man in Ohio has been charged with animal cruelty and disorderly conduct after using his pet as a weapon.
The man was acting erratically in a local restaurant and even threw a menu at the waitress. When the manager got involved the crazy man removed his pet iguana, which the manager thought was fake, and threw it!
Once police were able to track the irresponsible iguana owner down, they seized the lizard named “Copper” and found she was in pretty rough shape.
The humane society taking care of Copper is now looking for donations to help pay for the $1,600 surgery she needs and who really cares what’s happening to the owner at this point!
