Y’know what? Bet the Kohls VR set wouldn’t have let people down as much as the HoloLens 2 did for this live demo at Microsoft’s annual build developer conference.
John Knoll and Andy Chaikan were going to do a demo about Apollo 11 to show off the HoloLens 2.
The technology failed them right off the bat and things ended awkwardly with an anticlimactic, shameful walk off the stage.
Luckily they were able to record a rehearsal with everything working so we at least know what should have happened!
